Understanding Your Ring
What sizes do you have?
We offer 1/2 and full sizes, carefully engineered down to the millimeter. If you’re ever uncertain about your size, just head over to our Ring Sizer page, and we’ll send you our free printable ring sizer, which is the easiest path forward. How are your rings made?
Our rings are the culmination of artistry and innovation. We combine reclaimed wine barrel inlays—sourced directly from Napa and Provence—with three types of tungsten carbide. This process creates a ring that is not only breathtakingly unique but also built to withstand the test of time.
Can I get my ring engraved?
Our rings celebrate the natural charm of reclaimed wine barrel inlays. For the integrity of the inlay, we do not offer engraving services. However, you’re welcome to take your ring to a local artisan if you’d like a custom touch.
What materials are your rings made of?
We specialize in our signature style: reclaimed wine barrel inlays with tungsten carbide. This allows us to maintain our high standards of craftsmanship and durability. We offer 3 different tungsten carbide colors:
Copper-Tungsten Carbide: For a golden hue.
Silver-Tungsten Carbide: For a platinum-like appearance.
Carbon-Tungsten Carbide: For a contemporary black finish.
Where do you source your materials?
We source our tungsten carbide from a trusted manufacturer in the USA. Our wine barrels are sourced directly from our vineyard partners throughout the world. At the time of writing, we currently source from Napa Valley and Provence, France. You can see the most up-to-date information on the product page, and select which region you want your wine barrel to come from.
What happens if my ring doesn’t fit?
We offer free exchanges to ensure you get the perfect fit.
How can I determine my ring size?
We offer a complimentary downloadable Ring Sizer PDF for precise measurement.
Can my ring be resized?
Our rings are made from tungsten carbide, which cannot be resized due to it's strength. Tungsten is a 9/10 on the Mohs hardness scale, making it the strongest naturally occurring metal on Earth.
However, we offer free size exchanges and our Lifetime Happiness Guarantee of 2x replacements, so you don't have to worry about changing sizes over time, we've got you covered.
Our Process and the Wine Barrel inlays
What Type of Wood is used
French Oak. We prefer it because the beautiful light finish it gives, plus it's a tighter-grained than most woods, making it tough and perfect for rings, once we layer on the proper protective coatings.
Age of the barrels we use
The barrels we source are typically 5–10 years old, seasoned by years of cradling bold reds in Provence’s sunny hills. Each one’s aged just enough to bring character to the inside of your ring--no two inlays look the exact same.
How do you find the barrels?
We hunt them down like treasure! Our team partners with boutique wineries in Provence, cherry-picking barrels with provenance—think family vineyards with tales of harvests past. Only the best make it to your ring, and we prefer barrels made of French Oak because it gives a bold bright finish.
How much wine did the barrels hold before becoming rings?
Each 225-liter Provence barrel held about 300 bottles of wine in its prime. That’s a lot of toasts! Now, that same barrel lives on in roughly 100-200 rings, depending on how we slice it.
How does it get turned into a ring?
It’s a labor of love: we dismantle the barrels by hand, select the high quality oak slabs after trimming off the pieces with charring and imperfection, shave them into thin strips, and shape them into inlays. Then, we pair them with premium metals and inspect for quality—all in our NYC workshop.

How long does it take for my ring to ship?
All orders are shipped the same business day from Manhattan, NY if placed before 3pm EST.
US & Canada orders ship for free via USPS Priority Mail Express®with Tracking.
US: 1-3 business days.
Canada: 2-5 business days (may be slightly longer depending on Canadian customs).
International orders are shipped free via USPS First Class International®. The estimated transit time for these shipments is 5-12 days depending on the destination country. If you need your order faster than this, please send us an email and we can custom place your order with a more immediate delivery :).
Does every ring come with a warranty?
Absolutely. Every Mondeu ring is backed by our Lifetime Happiness Guarantee. This means that in the event of loss, damage, or sizing issues, you can count on up to two free replacements. Your ring—and your love story—deserve nothing less.
What is your international return policy?
International Customers are responsible for their own return shipping costs, this means all shipping origins outside of the United States.
There's an issue with my shipment, what should I do?
Our customer care team is just an email (team@mondeu.com) or a phone call away. We’re here to ensure you get a flawless ring, fast. Please reach out as soon as you can so that we can make necessary accomodations! Whether that's changing your shipping address after an order was placed, or anything else.
Do you offer style exchanges, if I decide want a different style?
Yes, we offer 60-day style exchanges. The process is easy via logging into your Customer Account Portal.
What if I change my mind and want to return?
We want you to love your ring. If it’s not the perfect match, whether you or your spouse wants to go in a different direction - our Customer Account Portal is at your service for a hassle-free size/style exchange, or a return. We even cover return shipping to ease any concerns.
Note: a small restocking fee of $35 may apply for returned rings
Do your rings come with a replacement warranty?
Yes, we offer a 2x lifetime replacement guarantee. We call this our Lifetime Happiness Guarantee.
